This issue includes a special selection of scientific letters that the editorial team wanted to highlight among those received over the past year. In particular, they describe some interesting observations related to COVID-19 which, although the pandemic appears to be coming to an end, remain relevant and offer experience for similar situations.
We have also selected communications related to immunological disturbances, in terms of both diagnosis and aetiopathogenesis, sexually transmitted infections, currently so common in dermatological clinical practice, and the side effects of alopecia treatment.
We are confident that the content will be of interest to readers of the journal.
